What BaseBuddy does
BaseBuddy turns an existing Supabase or Postgres database into a clean content editor. You connect the app, create a project, map your existing tables and fields, and then edit content through BaseBuddy without rebuilding your schema around a new CMS.
The product is designed for teams that want a friendly editor while keeping ownership of their database, storage buckets, relations, and deployment.
What BaseBuddy does not do
BaseBuddy does not rename, reshape, or take over your tables. The saved mapping tells the editor how to read and write your data. Normal saves write changed fields only, while publish, unpublish, and archive remain explicit actions.
That model keeps BaseBuddy close to your database instead of asking your database to become a BaseBuddy-specific schema.
Open-source direction
BaseBuddy is published as open-source software so developers can inspect it, self-host it, improve it, and adapt it to real projects. The public documentation, hosted demo, and GitHub repository are meant to make that path understandable before anyone connects a production database.
